What personal data we collect and why we collect it

On our website we use Facebook comments plugin, if you make a comment on the Ship Stories website, only your name and Facebook Profile picture will be displayed in the public, and your profile could be visited by clicking on your name from the comments section, no other information will be revealed from our end, unless you have revealed any of your personal information in your comment. We never censor comments, even if they are of critical nature. However, we reserve the right to delete those comments that are off-topic, “spammy” in nature, abusive, use excessive foul language, or include ad hominem attacks. Once a comment is made public on Ship Stories website, we will not remove it by request. As a user, you are responsible for your own communications and are responsible for the consequences of their posting.

Contact forms

The information submitted through any Contact Forms on Ship Stories website is stored for a period of 6 Months for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through the contact forms or by any means for any kind of marketing purposes.

Only the data submitted through the Contacts form is submitted for 6 months, and if you have subscribed to our push notification sent via One Signal then we store the information provided by you till you decide to remain subscribed to our notifications, we do not continue to store your data once you have decided to unsubscribe from our push notifications other than that we do not maintain any records of your data.
